WELFARE AT MDA COLLEGE

We want you to be happy and safe at MDA College.

We have:

  • clear rules to keep you safe. These rules are on our policies page and in the student handbook.
  • make our school welcoming and friendly. All teachers and staff help students and take care of their welfare.
  • treat all students with respect, and listen to their problems. We will try to help you as much as we can.
  • keep anything you tell us a secret from other students. We might need to tell the teachers, staff or police if it is serious.
  • answer any problems as quickly as possible.
The Welfare Team

Megan is responsible for admissions including course registrations, scholarships, and school premises.

If you have any concerns about your course, registrations, scholarships, and school premises, you can talk to her at any time during the college's opening hours from 09:00 till 17:00 Monday to Friday.

Megan is also a First Aider at MDA College. She is trained to administer immediate first aid.

Megan is one of the emergency contacts, so you can contact her if you have any problems after 5 pm on weekdays or weekends. You can find her contact details on the back of your student ID.

Ahmed is our welfare and accommodation officer. He is also in charge of our social media accounts. If you have any questions about accommodation, any issues outside the college, social activities or life in Leeds, Ahmed will be happy to help you.

During the registration, Ahmed will ask you to complete a welfare questionnaire which will include questions about your accommodation, if you are registered with a doctor or police, and if you have any health problems.

Ahmed is one of the emergency contacts, so you can contact her if you have any problems after 5 pm on weekdays or weekends. You can find her contact details on the back of your student ID.
