3. LEEDS IS A FRIENDLY AND FUN CITY

Read a list of the best places to live in the UK, and you will usually see Leeds! The city has been voted as the most child friendly city, the best student city and the most female-friendly city in the last 10 years!

Leeds and Yorkshire have a reputation as being friendly, helpful and kind to strangers. Leeds is very multicultural, so there are people from all over the world that you can meet and make friends with!

Leeds is also a fun city. There is a lot of history and museums to see, and there are lots of places to go shopping! At MDA, we love Trinity Leeds, which has big brands and the famous Arcades. The Arcades are small alleys, with beautiful decorations and many small designer shops, including Harvey Nichols! People come from all over the UK to spend time in Leeds, and you can find great places to go.

4. LEEDS IS A SAFE CITY CLOSE TO NATURE

If you plan to come to Leeds with your family, or if you are travelling alone, you want to feel that you will be safe in your new home. Leeds is a quiet city and has lots of parks to spend time with your family and friends (when the weather is good!) and places to visit. If you want to travel out of the city, you can go to the many beautiful places in Yorkshire.

Some great family places to visit around Leeds:

Roundhay Park

Harewood House

Golden Acre Park

Tropical World
